Caleb Sitindi the man in his 45 year was caught red handed stealing raw maize at Kiwanja Ndege village in a villager’s farm.
The man was in the company of five more who escaped after getting caught.
Residents then pounced on him with crude weapons killing him instantly and then came lynching.
The police were only called to the scenes to collect the body. Villagers said such incidences have been rampant making the farmers incur huge losses.
They say this is the way such incidences shall be dealt with and hopefully see a decline in the raw maize theft.
