Nairobi is a beehive of activities about,beggars are all over and have become a menace at the same time. Many have been exposed for taking this opportunity and treating it as a job,its said most of the kids begging in the streets are planted by their masters who forms a large con syndicate.
There was drama Tuesday evening at Nakumatt’s Ronald Ngala branch when a lady identified a fellow pushing a big trolly full of his shopping,she immediately recognized his face from the streets and exposed the underlying falsehood. Apparently the gentlemen is a rogue beggar who roams around anniversary tower pleading for help,disguised in ragged cloths making it hard to blow the cover.
It was hard believing the lady who was now getting loud and furious demanding the gentleman the donation she had gave him several times,”this guy i’m telling you is a beggar and kumbe he is just acting,now he is dressed well you can’t imagine”
The unapologetic “beggar” told her off that he is just doing it like any job and shrugged that all donations are voluntary and never forced her. The lady was mad on the fact he takes advantage of the people who toil whole day and he gets his way though swiftly even affording a bigger shopping than those he begs from. Only identified as Mwangi,the man was seen boarding a githurai bound bus with the evidently big luggage giving the rants a deaf ear.
