During his last and most publicised crusade in Kakamega where thousands showed up and the event beamed to millions across the world via internet and live TV for two days straight,Dr. Owuor in his custom continued to slash out at the growing breed of Panda Mbegu pastors.
In his preaching,he at one point slammed at Bishop Wanjiru of Jesus is alive ministry,”she claims that the glory is here and can’t even perform any miracle” the prophet is quoted saying.
The words didn’t go quite well with Wanjiru’s followers and she herself on live TV fired back at Dr. Owuor. One of the local tabloids The Nairobian gel an interview with the furious bishop in Nairobi where she let it all out on the supposed beef between them.
She accuses prophet Owuor of performing fake miracles just to attract followers, “Can someone explain to me how someone in
crutches will walk just for the duration of Owuor’s rally and the next day they are back to using crutches? He just gives people
energizers and claims he is performing miracles,” claimed Bishop Wanjiru
She referred to Prophet Owuor a “one-day miracle man”.
Wanjiru also had issues with Dr Owuor referring to himself as a prophet,“Who anointed him as a prophet? We are all servants of God. We serve the same God. In
fact, Owuor’s academic papers are very questionable,”
“He is idle, and he has spent a lot of time trying to fight me, but I let God fight my battles. I ignore him and I think it hurts him. He wants to be noticed. And he can achieve
that by attacking me. I remain steadfast in my commitment to serve God and I won’t let
Owuor distract me,” rants Bishop Wanjiru.
In his church Sadaka is not part of the service,something that doesn’t get well with the angry bishop, “Can he explain the fleet of expensive cars he drives around in? Can he explain the lavish
lifestyle he is accustomed to? I would want to know which spiritual world he gets those things from so that I can also go and get them for
myself”
Supposedly when contacted,prophet Owuor opted out of commenting.
