Nandi Governor Sang Has Bought A Sh500 Million House In Nairobi

Mystery surrounds an oxygen plant project at Kapsabet, Nandi county which was launched by William Ruto. Insiders say the supplier, using his links with Ruto inner core, may have used the project to mint millions of shillings targeting counties of Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia and Nandi itself.

The project has not been in operation for the last six months further complicating issues. The contractor is demanding Sh1.5 million as maintenance fee. However, Governor Stephen Sang administration claims, it paid the said amount to Kenya Revenue Authority. According to Terik ward MCA Osborne Komen, the project has consumed taxpayers’ money running into millions of shillings. Got in the circus is Nandi county secretary Francis Sang.

The oxygen plant project joins the long list of many of the developments that have stalled with locals baying for Governor Sang blood. It is said Sang has diverted millions of shillings from such projects to construct a state of the art residence and is now buying a house in Nairobi upmarket New Muthaiga at a cool Sh500 million.
