Mike Sonko has bailed out the driver of Mtindwa accident which left 11 dead and scores injured. Sonko also vowed to cater for funeral expenses of the dead and those in the hospitals.
The driver has been labelled as a murderer since he ignored all the traffic rules driving a bus full of passengers into their death trap,he survived by jumping off the bus leaving the rest to be rammed and crashed by the coming train.
Its not clear under what capacity the senator acted but unconfirmed reports have it that he is a stakeholder in the Umoinner Sacco that owns the ill feted bus.
