Man Who Wrote Amount He Was Willing To Bribe During KDF Recruitment Arrested

A Kenyan man was on Thursday arrested after he reportedly attempted to bribe his way thorough a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitment exercise at Diemo Primary School in Seme.

According to reports, Dennis Odhiambo attempted to draw the attention of the army officers by writing a Ksh.300,000 figure on the soles of his feet.

Seme sub county police boss Hellen Ngetich confirmed the incident saying the man’s parents had also been arrested for question.

Elsewhere in the country, a swarm of bees stormed a similar recruitment exercise in Kwale on Thursday morning, forcing soldiers and would-be recruits to flee for their lives.

The recruitment exercise began on Monday, February 8 and has been ongoing across the country.
