A man in Lugari, Kakamega County, shocked many people after he decided to honor his departed chicken with a befitting burial.
Joseph Omulai performed a funeral ceremony that entailed a requiem for the departed ‘soul’. After burying the chicken, he went ahead to cement the ‘grave’ and clean the area very well.
One of the witnesses narrated that;
“Joseph was pained to lose his chicken. His face could tell it all. Seems he even cried.” said Wafula.
