On Thursday night just few meters from Bamburi police station four people including a radical cleric and three other Muslims were shot dead by unknown assailants who sprayed the car they were in with bullets.
The incident executed in the same style as that of slain cleric Aboud Rogo,assassinated along the Mombasa-Malindi highway same as the four last year.
The cleric Sheikh Ibrahim was a close confidant and an accomplice to Rogo who was seen as an Al Shabab agent,a fact that has since been proven to be true.
The four were en route to Mtwapa
from Masjid Musa when they met their death in the same style as their protege Rogo.
The Mombasa residents are planning to stage a demonstration against the police whom they accuse of being behind the assassination. The dead have already been buried.
