Former Tetu legislator Ndung’u Gethenji was Tuesday morning in court to answer to a forgery case involving a Ksh 20 million property in Kitisuru, Nairobi County.

Appearing before Chief magistrate Martha Mutuku, the former MP was accused of forging minutes of a board meeting of Kihingo Village (Waridi Gardens) Management Ltd, a company that controls the upmarket Kihingo Estate, in November 2018.

In the forged minutes, Chacha Mabanga is alleged to have been appointed the director of Management One Ltd which had control of 60 B shares.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?guci=2.2.0.0.2.2.0.0&client=ca-pub-5641756061960278&output=html&h=345&slotname=8237663775&adk=3884455714&adf=947911797&pi=t.ma~as.8237663775&w=414&lmt=1606812689&rafmt=1&armr=1&psa=1&format=414×345&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kbc.co.ke%2Fex-tetu-mp-in-court-to-answer-fraud-charges%2F&flash=0&fwr=1&rs=1&rh=250&rw=300&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&adsid=NT&tt_state=W3siaXNzdWVyT3JpZ2luIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly9hZHNlcnZpY2UuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbSIsInN0YXRlIjowfSx7Imlzc3Vlck9yaWdpbiI6Imh0dHBzOi8vYXR0ZXN0YXRpb24uYW5kcm9pZC5jb20iLCJzdGF0ZSI6MH1d&dt=1606812688466&bpp=5&bdt=1638&idt=764&shv=r20201112&cbv=r20190131&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3D73f1e5eea6204533-22c5fa1f7fa6005a%3AT%3D1606812080%3ART%3D1606812080%3AS%3DALNI_MZIWR3GzN5CrRCmkcjS3iPnAlnzuw&prev_fmts=414×345&correlator=7505401074850&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=amp-qCxsRkHzh_a8Wh6uh8F9pA&ga_sid=1606812690&ga_hid=532875890&ga_fc=0&iag=0&icsg=2461874432242444&dssz=108&mdo=0&mso=512&u_tz=180&u_his=1&u_java=0&u_h=896&u_w=414&u_ah=896&u_aw=414&u_cd=32&u_nplug=0&u_nmime=0&adx=0&ady=1409&biw=414&bih=725&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=21066923&oid=3&pvsid=3060938649875279&pem=340&ref=https%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2F&rx=0&eae=0&fc=900&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C414%2C0%2C414%2C896%2C414%2C725&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=9344&bc=31&ifi=2&uci=a!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=qvLkMib7aU&p=https%3A//www.kbc.co.ke&dtd=1500

In 2018, the High Court issued a temporary injunction restraining Ndungu’s brother Gitahi and Ari Farm Limited from selling, charging, disposing, letting, leasing properties known as L.R NO.3862/2(I.R NO.108886) situated in Kitusuru pending hearing and determination of the case.
