Interior CS, Fred Matiangi, has threatened to have single mothers arrested, if they don’t declare their sources of wealth by December this year, as a way to curb immorality and extortion of money.
Kenya has a rising number of single mothers and absentee fathers. Matiangi believes most of these women use their positions to extort men in the pretext of child support.
