Mrs. Monica Kawiria, 32, and Pastor Francis Kirimi of God’s power church in Kiwanjani, Isiolo,have been married for 18 years. The couple has
three childen.
The bizzare incident ensued after Kawiria spent sh.140 she was given by her husband to settle debt at a shop to buy food for the family since there wasn’t any.
When he came home and told that the money was used to buy food instead of paying debt at the canteen,he reached for the boiling ugali water and splashed it on her. It was her brother who came in and took her to the hospital since the said pastor didn’t bother at all to do.
The matter is being handled in with the police as the wife recuperates in the hospital meanwhile,the pastor took away the children and few appliances and has since disappeared from home,police is on his pursuit.
