Kisii Woman Reportedly Upset After MP Daniel Manduku Allegedly Leaves Her With Sh10,000 After Private Encounter

NAIROBI – A curious political gossip storm is brewing in Kisii after a woman identified as Doris Gesare was reportedly left unimpressed by what she considered a disappointing pay-off following an alleged private encounter with Nyaribari Masaba MP Daniel Manduku.

According to a report published by the Kenyan Post on Monday, October 5, Gesare is said to have expected considerably more after Manduku allegedly promised to “pay her handsomely”.

But when the encounter was over, the report claims, the MP allegedly handed her only Sh10,000.

That is said to have left Gesare bitter, with a source quoted by the publication claiming she had expected a much more generous gesture.

The allegation has added another layer to the growing gossip surrounding Manduku’s private life.

Earlier reports in September had linked the legislator to other women in stories concerning alleged private encounters, including a woman identified as Sharon Omagwa and another identified as Samantha Nyanchama. Those reports, like the latest allegation, remain unverified allegations rather than established facts.

Manduku, a former managing director of the Kenya Ports Authority and National Construction Authority, is currently the elected MP for Nyaribari Masaba.

The latest story is therefore less about the alleged encounter itself and more about the unusual fallout reportedly triggered by the amount allegedly left behind.

For now, there is no independently verified evidence establishing that the alleged meeting took place, what was promised beforehand, or whether Sh10,000 actually changed hands.

Manduku has also not been quoted in the report responding to the allegation.

As the gossip mill turns, however, the question doing the rounds in Kisii is rather blunt: was Sh10,000 really the final figure, or did somebody walk away expecting a much bigger political “thank you”?
