Collins Owino a form one student at Bondo Township School in Siaya County was stabbed to death using a kitchen knife by fellow form three schoolmate Hillary Owino over unpaid debt of sh.20.
The incident occurred when the two were walking home from school and Hillary demanded from the deceased to immediately refund back his money owed.
The two engaged in bitter exchange of words before the form three student pulled out a knife and stabbed Collins to death.
On realising the damage caused the suspect went into hiding and is still on the run as the police launch a manhunt.
Meanwhile villagers from Ndunya area vow to take matters by lynching into their hands should they lay hands on him.
The body of the 19 year old boy is laying at Bondo District Hospital.
