We will for sure know who paid for his Sh15M cash bail when he was caught up in a corrupt scandal and the debt he owes his masters.
But Sonko is a trapped criminal running around f like a headless chicken, looking for anything and anyone to blame as his ways have been finally found and cut. If he claims, he wasn’t aware and didn’t read the details of deed with statehouse on transferring the functions of the county to the national government then can the Governor even think of the collection revenue deal he had with some shrewd businessmen and statehouse linked officials? After booting Jambo Pay? He thinks he’s smart but will bring all this to play soon.
Anyway, now the cornered cat is blackmailing the stage with ICC. This is coming from a man who previously undermined and downgraded the court. It’s surprising that suddenly he thinks it’s the most legitimate court on earth. In Kenya he has a criminal record with the courts so they won’t tolerate his kalongolongo.
Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is planning to take PS Interior Karanja Kibicho and Regional Police Commander Philip Ndolo to the ICC.
Sonko claims that the two accompanied by Nairobi RC Wilson Njenga have committed crimes against humanity.
“I’m 100% sure the President is not aware about this but I have been saying the people around my Boss are messing this country,” he said.

Via a long post on Facebook on Wednesday, Sonko said the trio must be taken to ICC for breaching articles 1.5, 53 and 7(1)(k) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
Sonko claims that in diverse dates in the Month of March and April 2020, the trio instructed officers to arrest and/or impounded goods worth thousands of dollars including Face-masks meant for supply to the Residents of informal settlements in Nairobi City by agents of the Plaintiff.
“The Defendants have failed to justify their sinister actions which risk millions of lives with any official position except bureaucracy,” he said.
He also claims that Kibicho instructed their officers and officers working under them to stop his agents and officers from fumigating and disinfecting streets and public establishments across Nairobi City.
“On diverse dates. the Defendants have through their officers and officials working under them demolished and vandalized installations including sanitization booths installed by the plaintiff,” he said.
If Sonko threatens to go the ICC way then he should be allowed. The state shouldn’t be intimidated, let him catch the bait.
