Mike Sonko if there’s one thing he is known for then its his philanthropy. Since joining the politics arena in 2010 as an MP,Sonko has been reverting all his salary to development projects as a way of giving back.
In a surprise move, the Senator who had promised the city residents that he wouldn’t take a penny off his salary home but pump it into development projects, posted a copy of his payslip on his Facebook account to show how much he earns and spend at the same time.
In a statement, Sonko said “From my attached April pay slip gross salary of 1,015,025/= after refunding back all my savings deposits & other deductions like NHIF, PAYE, the 50,000/= loan ( I’m deducted for plastic surgery & bills 4 sinai victims) etc. to
my gross salary,
