Rumors of having former President Uhuru’s close political confidants join President William Ruto’s cabinet began when the two leaders at Uhuru’s Ichaweri home.
The rumors came to pass yesterday 19th of December 2024 as Uhuru’s confidants got appointed to cabinet positions to seal the deal. They included; Mutahi Kagwe, Lee Kinyanjui(Trade), William Kabogo(ICT).
However, the appointment of one Mutahi Kagwe, former CS for health in Uhuru’s cabinet was a ‘dissapointing’ one since Kenyans expected him to occupy either Interior Ministry or Health Ministry again following his track record. But it now turns out that the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock development that he has been nominated to occupy is strategic for his business through the PR firm he owns and Hope for farmers as he is a performer.
Tell-em PR Firm
During 2020 Cabinet Secretaries vetting interview, Kagwe revealed he own two companies, Tell-Em, a public relations firm and TNS RMS East Africa.
According to Tell-Em’s website, the firm was established in 1999 and has grown to become one of the leading PR agencies in East Africa. Its head offices are based at Riverside Drive, Nairobi.
The firm, is run by CS nominee Mutahi Kagwe as the chairman and Joel Chacha, as General Manager, has offices in Kenya and Tanzania and affiliate companies in Uganda, Rwanda and Ethiopia.
It offers communication services with strategic planning and counsel, issue management, stakeholder engagement, media relations and corporate communications among its key services.

• The PR Firm is contracted by Bill Gates’ Microsoft and Nova nordisk the pharmaceutical and healthcare company thats partnering with Bill & Melinda Gates foundation in production of the controversial Cattle vaccine. Both companies are involved in the production of a controversial cattle vaccine aimed at reducing methane emissions from livestock, which is part of global efforts to combat climate change. The vaccine in question is designed to alter the gut microbes of cattle to reduce methane production, which is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions.
So literally, Kagwe has been appointed to the docket strategically to sell the vaccination agenda and make it work come rain, come sunshine.
In May 2024, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Novo Nordisk Foundation joined forces($300million deal) to tackle some of the world’s most pressing health problems, an endeavor that pulls together two of philanthropy’s biggest players to tap developments in science and technology and instead they chose Kenya in Africa as the easy target for their trials because of a greedy and malfunctioning government.
