Sarah Fanah as she is popularly known is an afro fusion gospel music artist, executive producer at Zemare productions besides she is a student at Daystar University studying psychology and Christian counselling, she is at the same time an events MC. This is just but the tip of the iceberg on what she holds in her palms. She travelled in to Kenya 8 years back and instantly fell in love with the land and never looked back, she gained Kenyan citizenship as per the constitution and is now a Kenyan by registration. Her beauty and talents has seen her do voice commercials for Emirates Airlines.

Zemari Productions House which she owns, specialises in making TV show contents including and not limited to kids shows, cookery shows. Many of the programmes she hosts herself and some others do. Currently many of her shows are in distribution in many Africa TV channels, for those with memory, she hosted upishi extra on K24. But her main passion is music, she is currently flying high with her new music and video to “ell Shaddai” which is off her upcoming album, the song which is done in Eritrea but it’s rich and captivating melody something which is highly appreciated by music enthusiasts. But in a country where many only speaks Kiswahili how is she planning to penetrate the market, talking to NE Sarah says,” language is never a barrier in music as long as you do a good music any one from any country can enjoy.eg we dont know what Zahara from south africa says but we enjoy her good music, most kenyans love lingala and they dont understand what they sing. but at least mine has been translated in english and people can easly understand.” Does she plan to ever to a Swahili song any time soon to which she responds,”yeah am working on my second single which is one of the song from my upcoming album and its fused with kiswahili but in my cultural tune so that its a completely new flavor to kiswahili tunes and it gives it a touch of my identity.

Apart from music she does and plans to get more into modelling and photography as well as acting this is other mediums of spreading the word of God. But why did it take her long to finally come out and hit the music industry,” I was just 17 when i came to Kenya and i didn’t want to throw myself into the industry because for me singing is not a hobby but a ministry. So it took me 8 years of preparation, equipping myself all round with education, character and nurturing my voice and my song writing ability.I learnt about the Kenyan gospel industry while i was at home and i featured at Kambua’s umetenda mema video in 2011.Now am fit for the market and thats why my first single is opening a lot of doors for me” This statement goes to contradict the major perception of many minds who says that genuine gospel artists doesn’t exist in Kenya no more, just entertainers out to make money. Sarah in her part as a counsellor is open to invitations and gives lectures and teachings to various institutions, she isn’t resting in the quest to spreading the word. And another real quick one brothers of Christ, she is Single.
