But have you ever wondered what would drive a low earning man, ( I found a more polite term to refer to them) to cheat on a woman who is the breadwinner of the family?
We have always believed that it’s financial stability that drives a man to cheat, given that he has his money to burn, in exchange for the forbidden fruit. But what happens when a man who doesn’t earn much, or earns nothing, decides to cheat on the very woman who brings bread to the table? A table he didn’t even make?
Remember to break drills like hell because it’s the only way he feels his masculinity. Then there’s this worst combination ever in a man; married, broke and cheating. Netizen make jokes about it terming it the latest bale in the market. So, just where does such a man even get the energy to cheat on the hand that feeds him? The man is being housed and fed, literally, but has the guts and time to philander.
Our men should learn that cheating when you’re broke or earn less than your woman is total disrespect; unforgivable. Much as infidelity shouldn’t be glorified in society, and of course I’m not encouraging people (read men) to cheat, but cheating while struggling in life to feed your people is just not right! That’s the last thing you’d do to a woman who has stood by you the whole period you’re barely trying to make sense out of life.
Housebands should never ever think of another woman out there apart from their mothers. Sit down daddy and wait for food. Hoedacity from you is unthinkable.
In an attempt to compensate for their lack of financial muscle in their lives, low earning men have affairs to get validation and assurance that all is still well despite their not having enough for themselves, their families and any extra mouths to feed.
The feeling of inadequacy and a crushed ego is what drives such men into the arms of other women. He hits one, comes home grinning like a well fed cat and before you know it, he’s having a bunch of girls that he services weekly, on specific days.

That is why it is more painful when a low earning dude cheats, than it is when a loaded one does.
Also, a woman is more likely to forgive a philandering rich man than the one who does so and has nothing in his bank account. In most cases, relationships that break because of infidelity are the ones where the woman is the sole breadwinner. Otherwise a woman would stay put and concentrate on her family without giving a damn about her generous husband. The most important thing in such a setup is the money. The man’s money.
