Moses Kamunya better known as Maleek is a man under siege and this is coming from his valued friends. The musician who NE establishes had been living with popular comedian Fred Omondi in his Kileleshwa apartment and later chased away after it was discovered and confessed for executing a character assassination against the comedian on various social media platforms with faked yet serious allegations of having AIDS,this smear campaign could later make the comedian’s reputation go on the trenches and losing endorsements. However,he would later on forced to take an HIV test that could then clear the air.
With the damage done,the comedian who was living with Kamunya as a brother couldn’t stand his double face and chased him away from the comforts of his lavish home and lifestyle leaving the musician into a state of desperation,no money and job to sustain the lifestyle he previously used to. Last week the chap updated on his Facebook which he has since deactivated that his daughter had died in Kisumu which is his hometown. The sympathetic friends held series of meetings and collected money to console him and according to verified records,total collections amounted to sh.300,000. On the fateful burial day,his friends from Nairobi hired a van to ferry the big number of them to attend the daughters burial,sending him the rest of collection.
On reaching Kisumu the script started changing,Maleek’s phone mysteriously went off,he switched it off, leaving the friends stranded but they consoled themselves that it could be as a result of the bustles involved with the burial arrangements.
Time was running out and no communication coming through so they sought to contact the immediate person who was Maleek’s girlfriend and the mother to the said dead daughter. They started off by consoling her and asking for the directions to the mortuary where her “dead daughter” was laying. The shocked mother broke the glass to them saying her daughter is well and right health,at that moment it was clear they had been coned. With the disappointed friends baying for his blood,he was remorseful and apologised to his friends citing life difficulties and asking for their forgiveness.
The friends have however resolved not to hear none of that and demanded that he refunds back all their money.
