A 28-year-old woman has lost her life after she reportedly received Pfizer vaccine in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
In a police report, Rhoda Mwikali was accompanied by her husband John Matu Nderitu at a local hospital where they both got injected with the vaccine in a bid to prevent Covid-19.
John however says his wife developed complications immediately after receiving the vaccine prompting him to rush her to Ruiru sub-county hospital.
“His wife developed unusual fever and was rushed to Ruiru sub-county hospital for medical examination but was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital,” the police report read.
The body has been moved to General Kago mortuary awaiting autopsy.
