Hon. Moses Kuria adversely mentioned in a unresolved rape case dating 18 years ago, claims a Doctor at KNH.
A doctor at Kenyatta National Hospital has linked Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria to a grisly rape incidence that took place two decades ago.
Taking to her Facebook, Dr. Lilian Munyua wrote:

Every time I am treating a rape victim especially young girls, it reminds me about a lady I schooled with at Tumutumu Girls High School before I proceeded to KMTC – Nairobi.
My friend proceeded to UoN -Main Campus to pursue a Bachelor of Mass Communication degree. Ann was a beautiful brilliant student and had scored straight A’s at Tumutumu. Surprisingly, despite her starring performance, she preferred to pursue Media studies as most of us went into the medical profession.
I would later meet a dejected Ann at Aga Khan Hospital where I was working before moving to KNH🏥. Ann had been drugged and sexually abused (raped) by a Bank Executive who had invited her for a late lunch date.
According to Ann, she had met the man severally at Barclays Bank 🏦where he worked and this was their first meeting outside the banking hall. They had lunch in one of the old hotels along Kenyatta Avenue, close to where the gentleman worked.
When she begged to leave, the man wouldn’t hear of it. She was poised to attend an interview the following day at Nation Centre having completed a contract with Kenya News Agency (KNA). This banker insisted that they stay longer and that he would organize her transport home.
They drunk 🥃🍻the ‘evening’, and around 10 pm, the gentleman called up a taxi, there was no Uber then. Ann demanded they drop her along Thika Road first but the man declined, insisting they drop him first then she proceeds with the driver🚖 to her destination.
Since she had no option and she couldn’t catch a matatu 🚌that late, she obliged. All this time, her drink had been spiked and the man was waiting for the drug to take effect on her.
Ann would find herself the following day in a house in Buruburu, stark naked😥, way past her interview time that was scheduled for 9 am. Without a phone (mobile phones were for the rich at that time) she reached out to a neighbour for help.
When she was brought in for treatment, we had to first stabilize her. She was not only raped but also sodomized😡. The most devastating part is that the DNA composition of semen collected in her vagina didn’t match with the deposits in her anal cavity, pointing to more than one rapist😫.
The matter was reported at Buruburu Police station👮♂️and PUI. Unfortunately, the main suspect, the bank executive, was untouchable. Ann’s family was taken in circles until her father gave up fighting for justice. He had even sold a piece of land at Ngegu in Kanunga, Kiambu and all the money went down the drain.
Ann’s life was ruined, she moved to live with her grandparents from the mother’s side in Kerwa Kikuyu. As days passed by, she suffered depression😥, a once brilliant and bubbly Ann was living in denial and fear😱. Four years after her ordeal, she committed suicide at her grandparent’s house by hanging😭.
In the meantime, the man who meted this cruelty proceeded to Dubai as an executive for Bank of Dubai✈. Many years later, Ann, a promising journalist is lying dead 🌚at her parent’s home, crying for justice. The man who did this to her is now serving as a member of parliament.🏨
Kenya is a peculiar country, despite all the evidence, Moses Kuria and his accomplice (now a ‘successful’ businessman) have never been charged, despite the taxi driver positively identifying them as the two occupants of the house where Ann was raped and sodomized.
As fate would have it, the driver would later be found dead bound with wire to his seat, his car had been plunged into Sagana River😰. When you see the likes of Moses Kuria insulting, slapping, and demeaning women, it is a culture he has cultivated for long and contemptuously.
