Blogger OLEITUMBI Records A Statement At CID Headquarter in NAIROBI Against MAINA KIAI Claims

The State house director of digital media Denis Oleitumbi has this morning recorded a statement at the CID headquarters in Milimani following claims made by UN’s special rapporteur Maina Kiai of being parts of threats made to him and family. In his press releasemade on Friday,Maina exposed how a group has threatened to burn down his mother homestead and police have been packing at the same.He said his life is in danger and is under intimidation following alleged inclusion in the ongoing ICC case involving the two leaders of the country, Uhuru and Ruto.In his argument Maina said the intimidating environment of witnesses in Kenya is openly fueled by known bloggers duelling on hate speech, libel and with impunity. “Some of the bloggers are known and are now staff at State House, right at the heart of the Presidency” he asserted. It is that statement that Itumbi thought was well directed at him since he is the statehouse director of new digital media and was formerly a controversial blogger.
