We Know Omosh Than You Do, Family Tells Public As Actor Comes Back Begging Again

Former Tahidi High actor Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh has generated a lot of buzz on social media after he appeared on a local TV asking for help yet again.

A section of Kenyans took to social media to castigate him for appealing for help a few months after hundreds of thousands was contributed to bail him out of a tough economic situation.

A piece of land was also donated to him and a house being constructed for him by a well-wisher is almost complete.

His sentiments that a majority of Kenyans who pledged to contribute had not done so did not convince many given that it is believed the actor received more than Ksh1 million.

He, however, said he received less than Ksh1 million which he used to settle debts and pay school fees for his kids.

The shocking turn of events, that left most of those who stood by him including comedian Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o surprised, brought to the fore Omosh sister’s remarks when their family was first accused of neglecting him.

Naomi Kamau, popularly known as Allison in the Mother In-law tv program and also acts Shamba Shape-Up series, defended their family saying they know Omosh better than most Kenyans who were castigating them.

She said they had tried their best to help Omosh but his fortunes continued to nosedive to a level they could not help further.

“Before you start crucifying us online as a family for neglecting our brother, reach out and get our side of the story, no sane human being can neglect his or her blood relation, Omosh is our brother and we love and care, we’ve done everything humanly possible to stand with our brother and we’ll still do over the years, come sit us down we reason together, I’ll stop it at that coz these are issues we don’t want to share with the media, we’re a family and we’ll try to sort our shit,” Naomi said.

Omosh is said to have been an alcohol addict but he says he managed to overcome the addiction after being taken to rehabilitation.

He now says he needs a camera, tripod and lights so that he can begin producing drama series for his YouTube channel.
