David Osiany Accused Of Using His CAS Position To Cut Deals For His PR Company

David Osiany is the new CAS for the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade, and Enterprise Development has come under harsh criticism for how he’s been running his business.

The budding politician who’s eyeing Rongo Constituency in the 2022 election, has been the talk of town and Kenyan major grapevine outlets for using his new office to cut and bulldoze deals for his communications consultancy firm Crestwood which he co owns with NTV anchor Travor Ombija.

Osiany who’s possibly the most toured CAS to state agencies and often bombarding social media users with photos of these tours on daily, has been loud on public-private partnerships is now being said he’s using this to secure contracts for his firm.

President Uhuru warned public servants against engaging in private businesses with the state and this is a clear contravention to the appointing authority should his firm engage in any contract with state agencies while he’s still in office but Kenya ethics and law don’t go together.

Osiany is also a former aide to Raila Odinga.
