A fuel cargo train on Sunday morning Cargo train derailed and crashed into structures along the rail line in Kibera, Laini Saba, several people feared injured.
According to national disaster operation centre about 12 families have been trapped in their houses and so far only 9 have been rescued with reported fatalities and injured rushed to the hospital.
Police are having hard times containing the swelling crowds who are scavenging and said to have started syphoning the fuel.
