Two years back the story of Princess was broken to the Kenyans,the young girl who showed her strength and charisma in fighting cancer became an instant celebrity arising from her outstanding personality. Her journey in fighting cancer could see her chosen as an inspiration to other patients fighting the same illness. Last year together with her mum,Princess relocated to the UK to seek further treatment and later decided to base there. The same year news hit the airwaves when Rose exposed to the world that they were thrown into the cold and literally living in the streets by her foster father,the air was later cleared by the mum,terming it as a mere domestic disagreement and was resolved.
The same year the good news of Rose winning her battle against cancer was beamed to the world,she was finally declared cancer free after lengthy chemotherapy sessions she had to undergo through over several years. Princess Nasimiyu is currently living good with her parents and continuing with her education,matter of fact she is set to join high school this September,She discloses,”In September i’m joining my dream high school called “Wirral Grammar Girls” and i’ve already bought my uniform and can’t wait to put it on. This school is the platform to my future career (Onocologist) I’m so glad God has been wonderful to me.”

She however still have to go for routine checkups occasionally to assess her health progress and so far so good,has plans to visit the country during the Christmas season.
