Murmurs of jealousy currently doing rounds in the Parliament corridors after the news of Hon Mpuru Aburi the Tigania East MP allied to ODM has bought a new chopper that is due for delivery in a fortnight.
The murmurs are injected by the fact that Aburi who is a first time MP could gather enough wealth to acquire the chopper in such a short time. The MP has been Raila Odinga’s point man in the Mt.Kenya region since his debut to the politics in 1992,both are also said to be enjoying close personal ties and business as well.
Aburi is however a businessman and his taste for cars has earned him space in the gossips columns. He bought a Bentley for his wife as her birthday present in 2005.
Currently he said to have secured a billion shilling tender with South Sudan government adding to his vast of wealth. One MP from the Mt.Kenya region who were amongst those murmuring was overheard saying,”he is developing a big head,,we need to investigate where he got all that money to afford a chopper”
As all these goes around the ODM allied MP gets his chopper in a fortnight.
