President of Kenya rap continues to cause uproar in the entertainment circles. Prezzo who has been out of the country and in USA for over a month now,doing shows across the states and at the same time enjoying his vacation is not stopping but headed to greater heights. An American rock star paid him a huge amount of money to do a song with him in his tour,but that’s not the prime. Prezzo who also is the universal ONE campaign ambassador has been holding meetings with world’s most valued entertainment executives including Roc Nation president and rapper JayZ.
Coming from a highly charged performance he held in Baltimore the past few days,Prezzo got a rare opportunity one of a kind when he got airplay on HOT97 World’s top ranked hiphop and RnB radio station with millions of audiences spread across the continent not only in the USA where the station is based in theNew York city. During his evening show Worlds respected and top ranked DJ Funkmaster Flex received a request from an attendee of Prezzo’s Baltimore party to search and play Prezzo’s Celebration of life song.
The show is mostly American music channelled and getting an airplay due to it’s authority isn’t a walk in the sand so for an African artist to get airplay is and has been out of thoughts. He however obliged and broke the rules and there it was Celebration of life Prezzo and Chesse was slotted in and the world listened. The remarks were quite impressive with Funk himself saying”damn I didn’t know Africa had so much raw talent, i’m definitely having this song on my iPod” he jokingly called Prezzo African stunner in reference to his resemblance to American rapper Birdman who is also called Stunna. Prezzo now becomes the only Kenyan,East African if not African who has got the rare airplay.
