Robbers last night seized Hon Ngengi Muigai’s son, Timothy when he drove into the compound and forced him to take them to his father’s house at Spring Valley in Nairobi, where they robbed the family of Sh280,000, two laptops, six cellphones and jewelry.
The gang of three men and a woman had earlier gained entry into the compound by digging a hole through the fence where they held the security guard hostage at about 1am.
After the robbery the gang forced the son to drive them into one of the family cars to Lavington where they alighted and abandoned him unhurt ordering him to drive back.
This is the second time Muigai is being attacked. Late last month he had shifted from a house on Ole Dume Road in Kilimani after armed attackers raided it.
