NTV Managing Editor LINUS KAIKAI Survives A Deadly Hijacking

The incident took place Friday morning at around 12:05am when the journalist was headed home.

The robbers hijacked him at the gate just as he was entering his Rongai home. According to a neighbour, loud screams from a lady were heard before two gunfire shots went off.

Luckily, the veteran journalist wasn’t shot. Police were alerted and immediately trailed the hijackers to Kiserian town.

Linus had minor head injuries and was taken to Nairobi Women hospital,Rongai where he was treated and released.

This comes a few days after another former workmate at NMG and journalist Antony Kago was shot dead in his Rongai home at the gate by robbers as he was making an entry.

With two similar incidences happening within a short span of time and same areas, security eyebrows continues to rise. Luckily Kaikai is well and okay.
