Julius Owino or as he is known Juliani has grown in the industry to be a major force of reckon. Though he is classified as a gospel artist,he prefers to be categirise as an artist doing positive music,this as a result of him collaborating with other secular music artists like he did a song with secular veteran juakali. In his quest to make positive music that are meant to not only entertain but have an impact on the listeners. Most of the music are seen as course music,he is currently flying high on a hit song utawala which stresses on people taking responsibilities and front seats rather than sit back and watch things go the bad way and doing nothing to salvage the situation.
Sometimes back he was chosen as an ambassador and represented Kenya at the Copenhagen climate conference in 2009,at the moment he was running a climate change campaign throughout the country dubbed kama si sisi encouraging the youths,his target audience to take the front seat in the environment conservation. This course could then see thousands of trees planted across the country during his numerous stopovers in the tour trail. Years later his efforts seem to keep on paying off. Amiran Africas leading horticulture and floriculture company has appointed Juliani as their ambassador to fight poverty. He will now be referred as the Amiran’s Poverty Eradication Ambassador. With his influence on the youths his responsibilities would include but not limited to empowering the youths to innovate and invest in agricultural activities to help curb the thriving scare of poverty much hype in the African region and Kenya to be neat home. Generally his core mandate would be to change the youths mindset and instil development skills in them for a poverty free Kenya.
