Jimi Wanjigi Eyes Presidency In 2022

Today the National Executive Council (NEC) of Party of National Unity (PNU) will meet to set dates when elections will be called to fill positions that are vacant or disputed. After that it will be off to the races.

The Democratic Party of Kenya (DP) has recently taken in former Principal Secretary Irungu Nyakera as its new Deputy Party leader.
Jimi Wanjigi plans to become the Party leader of DP. They need the money anyway.
Others headed to DP are William Kabogo,Peter Kenneth, Kembi Gitura, David Murathe and other politicians opposed to W S Ruto.

However,Moses Kuria has been sent by Ruto to cause confusion in DP. He says that he will run as President under DP banner deputised by either Raila, Ruto or Kivutha Kibwana.

In 2022, Jubilee party will have only Kalenjin community in its membership roll.
The DP was started by Kenyatta family in 1991 and was given to Kibaki to split Matiba votes to allow Moi to rule again.

The PNU was started by Kibaki strongmen to take ODM head-on in 2007 elections. These two parties PNU and DP will form a coalition with ODM during the coming referendum to change the constitution and expand top leadership positions in the executive as part of Uhuru’s plan for inclusivity.
