Administration Police officers who seized a consignment of 314 pieces of ivory in Mombasa are now working in fear of victimization from their bosses.
Sources have revealed  that the officers had allegedly been reprimanded by their seniors after they seized the ivory whose origin and destination are yet to be known.
The sources further disclosed the officers have been redeployed. But Mombasa County Police boss Robert Kitur has denied they were moved from their units or victimised for leaking reports about the seizure.

The 5 APs who refused 5M bribe & netted Ivory are IP Ahmed Gabow & PCs Cyrus Mwakio, Ali Abdi Gedi, Miraj Ali, Kassim Bakari, Hassan Mohameds.
