Exclusive Leaked Info: Kenya to have its own version of "MTV cribs" show to be aired on..

MTV cribs for starters is an American TV reality program that showcased the homes of celebrities,it gave the opportunity for cameras to get into various celebs homes and beam to the world the kind of lifestyle they the celebs live in. It covered both rappers, singers, athletes, actors amongst many other people assumed to fall within the celebrity circle. Even back here at home our very own Prezzo had recorded his own version of MTV cribs with its Africa’s channel MTV base sometimes back.
Now the program could get a reincarnation here at home with a localised flavour version. In the wake of digital TV viewing and the need to have a variety of programs to keep up with the flame one of the biggest cable TV service providers Zuku could be airing the next big thing. According to information gathered by Nairobi Exposed from a highly reliable source in the program controls and development centre of the company, they are weighing and putting all the scaling factors into ensuring the program runs soonest. The progran had been pitched by a student from USIU and even presented with a full and impressive plot(acted version of the program) which left all mouths watering. We are told the plot was so good such that if made to live would be a good set. The problem however emerges on the cooperation from the local celebrities will they embrace it?
According to our source, several artists have been sampled out and the storyline pitched to them to verify their will for participation and the reception hasn’t been so well. The program only needs like 50 celebs to run a complete season according to their schedule but attaining that number has become such a task. Reasons emerging rather the excuses the approached celebs are giving includes they need privacy but the clear writings on the walls have it that they are afraid to have their other side of hypocrisy exposes. Most of the celebs we have are struggling with life and aren’t living the flashy lifestyle as its the case in their videos and other limelight platforms.
The program was initially posed to kick off from April but the glaring challenges have been a barring factor, according to statistics availed to us for verification purposes only and not publication, out of 50 celebs approached who includes rappers, actors,TV presenters, athletes only 7 have given the idea a green light to allow cameras into their homes the rest have given the idea a boot. Further enquiries on wether the number will affect and wether the show will eventually kick off,NE is reliably informed that so far they are cutting down and coming up with a new program schedule which will see each episode run for an hour bi weekly and make a season of 10 episodes, logically not correct but circumstances,it’s move they believe by starting to air will encourage others to ease up and invite the cameras into their homes. For the viewers it’s a good reason to keep glued and watch your celebrity unmasked, for the production crew its lights, cameras, action……
