A fresh CCTV footage shown exclusively on CNN reveals the initial stages when the terrorists gained entry into the mall before engaging in mass brutality of spraying innocent shoppers with bullets and hurling grenades at the children who were attending s cookery show at the rooftop.
According to CNN,the footage acquired is so graphic that it had to be edited over and over to be viewer friendly.
The attackers in the whole ordeal appears so relaxed and pulled the triggers with so much ease,the confidence shown through the operation is shocking,they seem unbothered by the police and army officers outside,perhaps they knew more than public does.
In instances they can br seen talking on the phone perhaps with their masters,Al Shabab during the siege,insisted that they were constantly in touch with the mujahedin who brutally killed anyone on sight.
In an instance,one of the terrorists unearths a man who was hiding behind a counter and then shoots him at s close range,the man tries to raise up and crawl out but he comes back and shoots him several times to death.
In same footage a teenage girl who seem to have been shot in the abdomen and has blood stained jacket,is surprisingly being waived outside by the terrorist perhaps she was a Muslim whom the terrorists and survivors admitted to have been spared.
Perhaps one of the most heartbreaking is when the terrorists despite the heavy security pursuit by the army outside,appeared relaxed and even held their evening prayers,this was after mass executions.
The footage only reveals four faces which the government is yet to announce as well as identifying the bodies of the terrorists or confirming the fears of many that they might have escaped.
