Things are just getting started for once a mere rap battle artist Octopizzo and now the top ranked rapper in Kenya. Octo better known as number nane for the past two years has been flowing as the top most ranked rapper in the country.
Last year he penned a lucrative multimillion corporate deal with safaricom’s music countrywide tour. Still flying high on his latest single Nini,Octo is set to release yet another new hit for 2014 but just before that,there’s something bigger.
Word on the streets have it that American record label that distributes for Jay-z,Kanye West,Ludacris amongst key international icons,have their drones targeted at the first rising rapper. According to one of key Kenyan dailies, Def Jam executives have for sometime now put Octo on the radar with main intention of putting him into their rolls.
According to them,Octopizzo has the complete package for an international marketable rapper,from his flow to swag,that can not only wrap up Africa but the international as well. When the deal finally materialises,Octo will join the billionaires club with the likes of Jay-z,Kanye West,Ludacris amongst many many more artists.
Currently Octopizzo is an independent not signed to any recording label. Looks like its number nane takeover baby…….
