FKF President Nick Mwendwa Arrested

Under fire Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has been arrested, Citizen Digital has been informed.

Mwendwa is said to have been picked up by plainclothes police officers a day after Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed disbanded the federation and formed a 15-member caretaker committee.

Justice (Rtd.) Aaron Ringera was appointed to chair the committee whose six-month mandate includes conducting all the FKF affairs.

The move follows recommendations by an inspection committee she formed to investigate the national football organization that is facing allegations of administrative corruption.
