Questions as DP Ruto’s Kajiado pointman snubs his function at Peris Tobiko’s home

Kajiado South member of parliament Katoo Ole Metito who is Deputy President William Ruto’s pointman in Kajiado has today snubbed the DP’s function held at Ilpolosat, in the homestead of Peris Tobiko.

This comes barely three weeks after the DP endorsed Katoo’s gubernatorial candidature while on his tour to Loitoktok.

From the onset of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Katoo an ally of Ruto has been mobilizing and rallying residents of Kajiado to support the party at the expense of handshake politics.

He has also been a key figure leading delegates to Ruto’s Karen residence.

An insider privy to political intrigues within UDA in Kajiado has intimated that some political power brokers have been rallying the DP to support Kajiado East member of parliament Peris Tobiko arguing that she is a stronger contestant compared to Katoo.

Although Katoo has refused to respond on why he failed to turn up for the event, while addressing the rally, Tobiko who officially decamped to UDA at the event told supporters that Katoo had sent greetings.
