Azimio Calls For A Peaceful March In Nairobi CBD On Monday

Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party has invited its supporters to a peaceful march to the Nairobi city centre on Monday, September 5, 2022.

The political formation stated that the peaceful procession will be in honour of their great journey in push for justice.

“This Monday all Azimio supporters are invited to a peaceful march to the city center of Nairobi. In honor of our great journey and push for justice,” a statement by the coalition read.

The coalition’s march comes on the day that the Supreme Court is expected to issue its judgment on the presidential election petition.

ODM leader Raila Odinga filed a petition at the apex court, challenging the announcement and declaration of Deputy President William Ruto as the president-elect.
