MP Nearly Kills Beats Wife After Infecting Her With STI

Githunguri Member of parliament Gabriel Kago has been accused of viciously battering his wife Emily Wanjiru after infecting her with STIs.

The MP is said to have pounced on his wife with kicks and blows at the home in Loswan estate on Kiambu road . The mother of four is said to have sustained injuries as a result of the thorough beating.

From the P3, Emily sustained injuries on the neck, scalp, thighs , upper back and experienced trouble swallowing.

Drama is reported to have started after  Ms Wanjiru a medical practitioner asked why her husband how she was getting STIs yet she had been faithful in the marriage.

Her brother confirmed the incident stating that Mr. Kago had called them to come take his wife referring to her as a prostitute immediately or pick her body the next day. He found her hiding in the servants quarters the next morning.

“Kago (MP) called our mother at around 3 am and told her that we should go for ‘the malaya (prostitute)in his house’ referring to my sister. By the time I arrived to rescue my sister, she was hiding in the servants quarter. He attacked her using an ironing box causing serious injuries all over her body,” the brother stated.

This allegations were confirmed by the medical reports  showing that she was hit by a blunt object and had burns from an iron box.

The matter was reported at the Kiambu police station under OB number 05/27/09/18. The member of parliament is yet to be arrested.

This is not the first time that the legislator is accused of battering his wife , she has allegedly been a victim and has often been forced to stay with family members as a result.
