Kenyan Lady With Confirmed Coronavirus Case Lives In Ongata Rongai

The Kenya government has urged Kenyans not to panic after sending a rapid response team to Ongata Rongai area where patient zero lives for the purpose of contract tracing for all persons who have been in contact with her.

The patient only described as a 27-year old had traveled from the US through London and has been in the country since 5th March making it 8 days before confirmation.

She had started showing symptoms before taking herself to the hospital for tests upon which it was confirmed.

Unconfirmed report say that she had traveled to Kitale in the western part of Kenya to visit her family using the Nairobi-Nakuru-Kitale route on road and back.

Officials claim they’ve successfully traced all the people she has been in contact with but this can’t be taken for the word of it as the scale of contact link could be longer than imagined.

She’s currently admitted at Aga Khan Hospital which is a private hospital in Kenya and officials say she’s in fair condition while undergoing treatment.
