Former State House spokesperson Kanze Dena has penned a heartwarming letter to her ex-bosd Uhuru Kenyatta and colleagues.

“Let me take this opportunity to thank his Excellency the retired President Uhuru Kenyatta for the opportunity to serve in His administration. Many valuable lessons I take with me.

To the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) team, the season would not have been successful without your support. I will always treasure you.

To all my colleagues at State House, ministries, parastatals, and stakeholders, I say thank you.

My family and friends, thank you for cheering me on and understanding when I had to disappoint because duty called. I thank you also for holding me in prayer, the fun and laughter as well as being protective.

How would I have done this without you ladies? Let the road trips begin. I love you all.

My parents, Harry and Jane, though you watched this season from afar, you played very great roles as your values were etched in me. Mama Zeinab too. I love you.

My children, for all the events I missed, including birthdays, thank you for understanding.

A special thank you to my husband Mr. Mararo. Thank you for the tremendous support, the constant pressure to want more and for being mum and dad most of the time. I lack words.

In conclusion, I thank God. Many times I Look back and I don’t know how I did it. But one thing I know Jehova you took it over and for sure that is how I made it through. That’s why I say you are Ebenezer. You and I Lord together.”
