Ida Showers Raila With Sweet Message As Petition Hearing Kicks Off

Mama Ida Odinga, wife to Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga has sent him a message of hope as the Supreme Court begins hearing of the presidential election petition.

In her message on Wednesday, Ida said Raila has always chosen the honourable way of resolving any challenges he faces.

She went on to pray that God grants her husband wisdom and strength to guide him.

“You have overcome every test and always chose the honorable way of resolving challenges. May God’s strength and wisdom continue to guide you,” she said in a tweet.

Her remarks come hours into the hearing of the presidential petition in which Raila and his running mate Martha Karua are challenging the election of William Ruto.

The petition is expected to be decided by the Supreme Court latest by September 5, 2022.

On Wednesday morning, Raila in a tweet said that his legal team was ready for the task.

He exuded confidence that the team is well prepared to face the apex court.

“It’s day one, our legal team is ready,” Raila tweeted.
