Exploitation: Apartments In Eastleigh Becoming More Expensive Than Suburbs

Nairobi’s Eastleigh estates are a booming business that cares about no safety nor privacy lets not even talk about hygiene. But why do Somalis spent millions in such an area? Where else do you expect them to get money launderers and illegal trades?

Super expensive residential structure in Eastleigh is now on the rise It’s now hard to find 2 bedrooms, and a sitting room for 45K 4bedbrooms is way over 70K What makes it worse is, people are not asking value for their money. Tall buildings but heaps of trash and sewage underneath

Somali are conservative and free-market thinkers in Africa but vote for socialist parties( the party of AOC) in the west. Exploiting poor tenants in Eastleigh is now a fashion. Somalis are their own enemies. Exciting the landlords!! or just protecting their illegal deals?

Why do people insist on living in Eastleigh?

Somalis themselves are the reason for the hiked prices. They offer landlords more money for innocent people to be evicted from houses they lived in for decades.

Senior Cousel Ahmednassir said this “Eastleigh is a classic case study of FAILED public sector institutions and THRIVING private sector enterprises. The STATE has no time for the CITIZENS.”
