Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdullahi’s alleged romantic partner has shrugged off online criticism after reports surfaced that he gifted her a high-end Range Rover.
The woman, whose identity has circulated online, recently posted a TikTok video showcasing the multi-million-shilling vehicle—allegedly acquired through questionable means. Unfazed by the backlash, she even hinted at a potential bid for the Wajir Woman Representative seat in 2027.
“Ama nisimame Wajir Woman Rep 2027?” (“Should I run for Wajir Woman Rep in 2027?”) she captioned the video.
Her alleged affair with the 52-year-old governor was first exposed by blogger Aoko Otieno, who claimed to possess a private video of the two and threatened to release it.
Since the scandal broke, the woman has frequently displayed an extravagant lifestyle on social media, fueling speculation that the governor bankrolls her spending.
