Slay Queen Stops Burial Of Kiambu Tycoon

The burial of Kiambu tycoon, Peter Njenga, the chairman of Uplands Diaries that processes Pascha Milk, has been thrown into limbo after a slay queen emerged from the woodworks and demanded to be recognized as his wife.

The middle-aged lady identified as Joy claimed she sired two kids with the late tycoon, who died of kidney failure on February 20th.

Friends and family were shocked when they went to pick the tycoon’s body at Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, only for the burial ceremony to be halted.

Joy filed an application in court to stop the burial of Njenga with immediate effect.

Njenga’s close friend who sought anonymity confirmed that he had an affair with Joy but kept his wife in the dark.

He even bought for her a home and a flat.

“Joy is known by few people who were close to Njenga. I am shocked that Joy has turned out to be greedy; she has a home and a flat and she should just allow this noble man to rest in peace,” he said.

Last year, he even bought for her a Prado, similar to that his wife of 20 years drives.

Peter Njenga.

Mary Njehia said she was not aware of the other woman claiming to be her husband’s wife.

“The other woman is a stranger to me, I don’t know her. My lawyers are working on the court order, but as for me, all I care about is to bury my husband,” she said.

Njenga managed to build a multi-million empire despite being born in a humble family.

He is one of Kenya’s foremost indigenous alcohol distillers having started his alcohol business along Mombasa Road before shifting to a new ultramodern distillery in Kiambu County.

In 2014, he launched a dairy factory in his Lari rural home.
