Blogger Exposes Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri’s Wild Parties That “Made Uhuru Shut SportPesa”

City blogger Aoko Otieno has dropped explosive allegations against Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri, accusing the betting tycoon of organizing drug-fueled orgies in private jets during SportPesa’s heyday—claims that may explain former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s crackdown on the gambling giant.

“Bisexual Duck-Billed Platypus”

In a viral Twitter thread, Aoko branded Karauri a “bisexual duck-billed platypus” who allegedly hosted debaucherous parties mid-air, with guests “naked in a jet, doing unprintable things.” The blogger shockingly claimed Uhuru’s niece attended these escapades, prompting the ex-president to deploy Fred Matiang’i to “stifle SportPesa ASAP.”

The Dubai Connection

Aoko further alleged that SportPesa’s real owner is Bulgarian Gerasim Nikolov, who allegedly ghosts winners and splits payouts with “invisible co-winners” while pocketing billions from Kenyan bettors. “Your data—and cash—goes to Dubai,” she wrote.

The MP, also SportPesa’s CEO, hasn’t responded to the claims. Meanwhile, Aoko mocked Kasarani voters: “You woke up at 3 AM to elect a man who prioritizes Sakaja over streetlights!”

Why It Matters: If true, these allegations reveal the shady nexus of politics, gambling, and elite decadence—with Uhuru’s family dragged into the mess.
