Nairobi — It seems Thursday came early for political firebrand and digital provocateur Maverick Aoko, who on Thursday morning blew the lid off a scandalous tale involving none other than United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Deputy Executive Director Brian Higgins Mbugua.
In a bombshell exposé posted on X (formerly Twitter), Aoko accused Higgins and digital strategist Dennis Itumbi of running a shadowy racket involving young girls, claiming the story had been brewing for some time behind the scenes. But the juiciest revelation came from an alleged taxpayer-funded “benchmarking” trip to China, where Higgins reportedly never showed up for a single official meeting.
According to Aoko’s detailed — and unapologetically graphic — narrative, Higgins allegedly spent his time in China staggering from one brothel to another, deep in a drunken haze, accompanied by what she described as “Ching Chong transgenders.” She didn’t stop there. With characteristic flair and streetwise sarcasm, Aoko claimed the UDA official splurged a jaw-dropping 28,000 Chinese yuan (approximately KSh500,000) on one particular night with a transgender sex worker.
“If you want, I can even post the picture of him getting a blow job from a shemale,” Aoko teased her followers in a mix of English and Kiswahili, describing the scene in brutally explicit detail that left social media reeling.
She even shared screenshots, purportedly from conversations involving Higgins, showing a carefree man bouncing between cities with little regard for protocol — or consequences.

Whether this is pure political vendetta or the leak of a true, tax-fueled debauchery, one thing is certain: the ruling party’s top brass is now scrambling. The post has since triggered a frenzy online, with critics demanding accountability while loyalists scramble to defend or dismiss the allegations as slander.
So far, there has been radio silence from the UDA camp, and neither Higgins nor Itumbi has issued a formal response.
If Aoko’s latest drop is to be believed, then Kenyans might be footing the bill not just for benchmarking trips, but for nights of reckless indulgence in foreign red-light districts. The tea, it seems, is still brewing.
