State Launches Investigations On Lawyer Ahmednasir To Repossess His Properties And Freeze His Bank Accounts

Panic and fear have gripped flamboyant lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi and his business associates after it emerged that Kenya’s Asset Recovery Agency has moved into audit and track his properties to recover all the money that paid to him by a firm linked to disgraced Sirisia MP John Waluke.

The Grand Mullah as he is popularly known was named as one of the main beneficiaries of the National Cereal and Produce Board (NCPB) in the Kshs 331 maize scandal that had Sirisia MP John Waluke sent to the coolers

Ahmednasir is a flamboyant lawyer, who is not shy to flaunt his wealth. His expensive tastes, Ahmednasir Abdullahi are displayed for all to see. In 2017, photos emerged of him as he took delivery of his new Sh35 million Mercedes Benz AMG G63 (G-Wagon). He was accompanied by a close business partner but a relatively unknown Nairobi lawyer Denis Musta. The two have partnered in some of the country’s biggest commercial deals and political cases

.There was a time he wanted to buy Prism Towers (3rd ngong avenue) from Kidero. He told him to let him know when he decides, he would transfer 1.2B to his account mara moja.! 🙆🏽‍♂

Sources close to the investigation informed us that the ARA was working closely with the Anti-Corruption Agency and office of prosecuting and to track and seize properties linked to all individuals who benefited from illegal payments made to Sirisia MP John Waluke and his co-accused Grace Wakhungu.

The flamboyant lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi has put together a team of advocates to obtain advance orders blocking the Asset Recovery Agency from attaching any of his properties that include, multi-story buildings, fuel guzzlers and a number of opulent residences spread around the country.

The loud-mouthed advocate pocketed Ksh40 million from NCPB Maize scandal cash that was paid through his firm Ahmednasir and Abdikadir and Company Advocates.

While Waluke and Wakhungu are finding it had to submit their petitions, Ahmednasir is said to be using his prodigy, the newly elected LSK President Nelson Havi to do this.

The office of Director of Public Prosecutions led by Noordin Haji and the Twalib Mbarak led Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, have vowed to pursue everyone that benefited from the fraudulent payments made to Waluke and his co-accused.

The two-state agencies are leaving no stone unturned and working closely with ARA to audit and track billions of properties belonging to Ahmednasir and others who are said to have been paid millions from the funds National Cereal and Produce Board paid to Road Limited for breach of contract.

Among the properties owned by the affluent lawyer are a Sh1.3 billion FCB Mihrab office block Kilimabi area and it houses his First Community Bank headquarters.

The flamboyant lawyer also owns a luxurious mansion that neighbors the Deputy President residence in Karen where he parks an impressive fleet of fuel guzzlers worth at least Sh200 million under a custom-built shade. The cars include a Bentley, Mercedes G-Wagon, Porsche Cayenne, Toyota Prado and Land Rover Discovery.

Waluke and his co-accused Wakhungu were fined over Kshs 1.5 billion or serve a total of 67 years in prison after they were found guilty of defrauding the NCPB.

Ahmednasir and the unknown person received even larger sums of money in the deal. These major culprits were neither in court nor mentioned in the case. But authorities are looking at pursuing them and seizing their properties following the verdict.

The Asset Recovery Agency is also auditing their bank account and if anything is fishy, they will move into the freeze bank accounts owned by the beneficiaries of the Waluke-NCPB deal. The state agencies want an immediate crackdown to nab the culprits before they transfer assets to other entities. Speculation is rife that some of the accounts of Ahmednasir, Abdikadir & Company Advocates contain dirty money which authorities believe is used to launder proceeds tax evasion, tax evasion, and drug dealing.

Grand Mullah

A source reliably told Nairobi Exposed that the panicky advocate had sent emissaries to President Uhuru Kenyatta, through his P.A. Jomo Gecaga to intervene. Ahmednasir action for Uhuru in the 2013 presidential election petition.

Elders from Mandera have also said to have secretly spoken to Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji, who is the father of DPP Noordin Haji to intervene and urge his son to restrain from pursuing “one of our own.”

Ahmednasir, a former university don, has amassed a fortune running into billions of Kenya shillings through shady deals.
