Mysterious Woman Implicated In Land Grab Attempt Belonging To A Dead Ugandan Tycoon

A public red alert notice has been issued implicating a strange woman for allegedly falsely claiming ownership of a multi-million parcel of land belonging to the late Ugandan tycoon Philip Nagenda Wilson located in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.

Alice Wairimu Kabaria is accused of being in the process of fraudulently selling Wilson’s land known as L.R. 1/414 situated in Chania Avenue, Kilimani.

According to Birgithe Lund Henriksen, personal representative of Nagenda, a forged conveyance dated April 24, 2017, purports that Wairimu purchased the said parcel of land from Nagenda and she is in the process of selling it.

“Birgithe Lund Henriksen advises and informs the general public that the conveyance dated April 24, 2017 in the name of Alice Wairimu Kabaria is a forgery and that she (Birgithe) has in her custody all the original title documents relating to the said parcel of land,” part of the public notice reads in part.

Already, Birgithe has instituted a case at the Environment and Land Court at Milimani Nairobi seeking to enforce the right of Nagenda as the true indefeasible owner of the said parcel of land.

Also, detectives from the Land Fraud Unit domiciled at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) are investigating the forgery and attempted sale of the late Philip Nagenda Wilson’s parcel of land.

Birgithe has further warned members of the public and all sundry that the said land has not been sold to anyone by Nagenda.

“Take notice that any purported sale of the said land by the said Wairimu is unlawful, illegal and fraudulent,” read the notice. Take further notice, that any persons purchasing the said parcel of land from Wairimu will be doing so at his or her own risk.” The notice says.

Philip Dennis Nagenda Wilson, a Ugandan born national was a London schooled chartered accountant was born on September 22, 1955 and died on June 19, 2020 aged 65 years.
